Happy Dance!

It's all about the steps. Step one - finish this beginning nursing program and get certified. DONE! Finished with clinicals yesterday. Looking for a job. No rush (thank you Big Daddy). What did I learn?
1) Get myself into nursing school asap in TN
2) Scrubs are addictive and CUTE!
3) I have to stop trying to match my shoes to my scrubs, but it's too much fun!
4) DO NOT EVER KNOT YOUR SCRUB PANTS - trust me on this one.
5) Some nurses do not look at their rear view before leaving the house - especially the ones wearing white pants. This is not pretty.
6) Growing old is not for whimps.

This post is so random, I know. Oh, I have packed up one box for the move. ONE. I'd better get a move on - literally!! LOL!

Housing Wish List

Last night, the Mr. and I were discussing the "wish list" for housing in the 'Boro. Here's what we came up with:
4 bedrooms (or more), dining room, a garage, a large yard. Oh, and in one particular school district.

That's it. That's not too bad. We have been looking at rental housing in the area and we are confident that when the time comes, we can find something that will be perfect for us. We aren't too picky. We just need space. Lots of space.

One boy will probably not be coming with. He found a college up here he is interested in. He would transfer from the college he goes to now. We are happy with this and I think this will be good for him to be on his own. And, he just might play hockey at this school. That would be so great for him!

I am starting to look in ernest. I have a school thing that will occupy my time until sometime in November, but after that I am ready for the offer. Just waiting........waiting.........waiting.............

Getting Started

This was created to be an online journal of our journey home. We currently live in Michigan, but long to return home to Tennessee. Murfreesboro, TN to be exact. Hopefully, if all is successful, we will complete our move in the Summer of 2010. That gives me 9 months or so to decrapify (that's a technical term, of course) our house, find a job, find the Mr. a job and relocate all 6 of us (4 boys are also coming with). Can we do it? Yes, we can! Why do we want to do this? Because of what you see above - the Grandchildren. The Daughter is there, too. So, follow me to Tennessee!!
